Heaven today

 

Heaven as described in the Bible book of Hebrews.

Chapter 1:10 the heavens are the creation of God.

         4:14  Jesus has gone into the heavens as our intercessor before God

         7:27  the Lord Jesus has been exalted in the heavens above all.

         8:1    in the very highest majesty, He is appointed as the Great High Priest.

         9:2   Heaven is the greater reality foreshadowed by the Tabernacle and Temple.

         10:34  in heaven the believer has a hope beyond this vale of tears.

         11:12  the stars express the glory of God’s ability to keep His impossible promises.

         12:23  ‘written’ – heavenly observation, heavenly enrolment, heavenly security.

         12:25  above the voice of men, God speaks from heaven.

         12:26  the domain of His kingdom includes earth and heaven.

 

God has spoken in His Son, by whom He made the worlds.

When HE had by Himself purged our sins, He sat down on the right hand of the majesty in heaven.

There in the place of highest glory , He is active on behalf of His own sheep. At the right time, He the Great Shepherd,  will return to raise the dead and reward faith with fulfillment. Let us hold fast our confession of who He is, and what He has done, and wait patiently until He appears.
