My
prayer for today
Lord
God, God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, may Your Name be honoured,
revered and adored. A glimpse of Your design in nature causes us to worship. The
brilliance of a flower expresses the radiance of your creativity.
Yet
this fades, and we turn to the unfading glory revealed in the face of Jesus Christ
our Lord. As the centuries have passed, His radiance seems only to have become
the brighter.
How
blessed we are as unworthy mortals to see this splendour and yet live. Indeed,
this present understanding of God revealed in Christ, is what makes this life
worth living – thank you God our Father.
And then for eternity, by grace unlimited,
we shall be forever learning more of the glories of God unveiled in the Lamb
that was slain.
O
Lord above, thank you , we worship you for calling us to yourself.
Keep us in your love, now and
forever. Amen
